Junior Sales Representative

Description

  • Initiate outbound cold calls for lead generation
  • Initiate contact with prospects identified by Sales and Marketing at trade shows, conferences and events
  • Perform research and navigate organizations to identify key contacts
  • Initiate discovery calls to qualified lead prospects with the assistance of the Account Manager; gather information, assess needs, educate on suitable product offerings and determine viability of a sale
  • Maintain purposeful, regular contact with identified prospects to add value and drive sale forward; regular contact includes emails, phone calls and other relevant activities
  • Generate new qualified lead prospects by developing a target list of customers and executing calling and email campaigns
  • Participate in tradeshow events; make contact with potential customers at trade show booth and ensure proper lead follow up after the show
  • Accompany Account Managers to onsite customer meetings
  • Regularly and accurately update all internal systems on all activities
  • Participate in transition call with Account Manager when potential customer moves from lead to genuine sales opportunity; facilitate portions of the call to ensure proper transition
  • Review and evaluate Requests for Proposals; assist prospects with drafting appropriate documentation
  • Comply with all corporate and departmental privacy and data security policies and practices, including but not limited to, Hyland’s Information Systems Security Policy

Responsibilities

  • Japanese fluency is required and at business level English or above is also required
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Inside sales experience
  • Relevant industry experience
  • Strong business acumen
  • Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm
  • Able to thrive in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
  • Speak or write with ease, clarity and impact, using a communication style appropriate to the subject and the audience
  • Good at investigating situations or issues to get relevant information; adept at asking probing questions to successfully obtain quality information
  • Demonstrated ability to establish rapport and gain the trust of others
  • Sharp, fast learner with a curiosity for technology as well as aptitude
  • Up to 10% travel required
