Sr. Netsuite Administrator (Remote)

Description

We’re looking for an experienced Netsuite Administrator to join our finance team. Reporting to the VP of Finance, this individual will work across the organization with Finance, Accounting, IT, Sales Ops, Engineering, and Product teams collaborating on complex system, integration, and operational programs to support our growth. 

 

The Sr. Netsuite Administrator will be responsible for providing support and technical assistance to NetSuite users in the areas of Order Management, Billing, Accounts Receivable, and Revenue Accounting. In this position, you should be a NetSuite expert in delivering technical solutions supporting SaaS business models, understand billing and revenue accounting principles, and have project management skills. You should have experience demonstrating the ability to self–motivate, while, and be able to anticipate and manage change in a highly dynamic environment.

 

 

You should have

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with NetSuite in a SaaS environment, including implementations from scratch.
  • Strong knowledge of ASC 606 and NetSuite Advanced Revenue Management (ARM) processes including, revenue recognition arrangements and plans, contract modifications, revenue reclassification, and other related revenue recognition concepts
  • Strong experience working with subscription billing and revenue recognition tools; experience architecting solutions to support a usage-based business model
  • NetSuite administrator-level knowledge of roles, permissions, custom objects, scripting, workflows, and dashboards, including exceptional custom report and saved search experience applying formula/SQL driven outputs
  • Process logic and technical architecture including building and delivery of functional/technical presentations; experience with schema mapping and data migration projects
  • Exposure to project management concepts, tools, and processes (Confluence, ClubHouse)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently with minimal guidance and collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fully remote environment

 

Bonus Skills and Experience

  • NetSuite Administrator Certification
  • Understanding of NetSuite OneWorld, Multi-Currency, and Advanced Revenue Module preferred.
  • Experience with SuiteScript and Javascript is a plus.
  • Experience with HubSpot, Avalara, Stripe, and various Integration tools is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Architect, design, configure and deliver subscription billing and revenue application solutions to support the order to cash value stream, implementing Netsuite from scratch to replace Quickbooks.
  • Evaluate system alternatives and implications on functionality, effort, performance, and operations with scale in mind.
  • Lead in-depth analysis of the NetSuite billing and revenue application ecosystem and lend deep subject matter expertise to solve issues and redesign processes to increase operational efficiency through automation
  • Lead NetSuite projects to scale and meet business initiatives including supporting integrations between Huntress, Bill.com, Expensify, among others.
  • Use knowledge of defined reference architectures and implementation experience to translate a business need into a solution blueprint that represents an end-to-end technical deliverable
  • Provide business user support to ensure efficient closure of monthly usage-based billing cycle
  • Manage system enhancement projects following established SDLC processes, based on agile methodology
  • Ensure procedures, processes, and proper change controls are followed on all production changes and implementation projects
